What new design elements can I get in 2019?

There's nothing about the Challenger that doesn't exude cool. It's a beautiful car to look at both idle and in cruising action, and for the 2019 year greater availability of exterior performance styling is provided throughout the six major trim models. The GT gains standard performance detailing with items previously found within the Super Track Pak; the performance hood, splitter, and racing seats mean business and bring the styling of the R/T and Hellcat models down to a more affordable bracket. Hardly stealing from these higher trims' glory, both gain new looks with the R/T Plus, T/A, Scat Pack, Shaker, and Widebody editions; the Hellcat gains a new fully functional dual-snorkel hood that pays homage to the early 1970 Dart Swinger and 1971 Demon.Further options are added to overall color options both inside and out. Triple Nickel debuts as the fourteenth exterior paint option; there's new choices of standard houndstooth cloth designs or Caramel leather and Alcantara upholstery options within. Adding a sharp edge to the interior, a new dark dub plate instrument panel and console bezel finish have been added into every Challenger. Personalize your Challenger to the fullest with a wide variety of racing stripes both for the hood and sides of the vehicle. The modernity this updated classic possesses is just as evident within the vehicle. There's the standard seven-inch touch radio display that offers voice recognition, Apple and Android smartphone integration, Bluetooth, the latest generation of Uconnect, and available HD Radio, 140 channels of SiriusXM, and GPS navigation. Digital driver information clusters can be customized to include various driving performance stats.

What power do the engine options produce?

Choosing which powertrain that suits your need for speed and horsepower is nearly as difficult as picking which of the Challenger's extensive design options best conveys the attitude of a muscle car to you. The first two trims, the SXT and GT come with the base 3.6-liter Pentastar, award-winning and well recognized across the FCA vehicles for its capability and gusto. Despite being the one V6 option, it starts off strong with 305 horsepower. Both these models now come in both RWD or AWD drivetrains, enhancing either power or efficiency. The 30 mpg highway available within RWD models is prepared for long cruises and simply feeling the joy of the drive, precisely what the Challenger does best. The R/T was named one of the top ten coolest cars under $35,000, and we think the inclusion of its standard 5.7-liter HEMI was definitely a deciding factor. The looks of the Challenger benefits stupendously from the sound that comes with a V8 under the hood, and the burst of 375 horsepower available to throttle into action is also pretty sweet. Whereas the prior two trims only come with an automatic eight-speed, the R/T introduces the choice of that or a six-speed manual transmission. For a heightened V8 experience, the next level up is the 6.4-liter HEMI provided within the R/T Scat Pack. This engine jumps over 100 horsepower up from the last to 485, all the more improved by introducing performance tuned suspension, launch control, line lock, and Brembo brakes. The SRT Hellcat, last year's leading Challenger, is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI to give you 717 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. Another upgrade to the sport-tuned suspension, quad exhaust tips, dual-snorkel hood, and high-strength six-piston Brembo brakes all work together to give you a one of a kind ride. The Hellcat knows when its had enough time in the limelight; 2019 makes room for an even bigger and faster Challenger.

How does the new 2019 SRT Hellcat Redeye perform?

Taking center stage for 2019 is the Demon-enhanced SRT Hellcat Redeye. This powerhouse features the largest factory-made supercharger ever equipped into any production muscle car--2.7-liters versus the Hellcat's 2.4-liters. As the SRT Demon leaves the Challenger lineup, plenty of its technology has made home within the Redeye (25 major components, to be exact). Higher RPMs, increased boost pressure, larger induction air box with three sources of intake air, and two dual-stage fuel pumps, the improved high-output supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI provides a class-leading 797 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque. This speeds through quarter-miles in just 10.8 seconds, throttling zero-to-sixty in only 3.4 seconds. This legendary engine comes paired only to an upgraded TorqueFlite 8HP90 automatic eight-speed transmission that delivers 18 percent greater torque manipulation when compared to the SRT Hellcat. This vehicle is specialized for drag, equipped with standard Line Lock, Torque Reserve, Launch Control, and Launch Assist. Everything about this coupe is designed to maximize wheel acceleration and engine power. After the races, you'll be happy for the inclusion of the industry-first Power Chiller and After-Run Chiller combo, wicking away engine heat to get you down to an optimum temperature for another race all the faster.
